Acie Earl was a 3rd team All-State at Moline High School and finished ranked 79th nationally.

Acie then went on to star for the Iowa Hawkeyes and set over 13 school records, leaving 2nd in scoring. Also, he earned All-Big Ten team honors and All-Defensive Player of the Year in the Big Ten.

From there, he was drafted 19th in the 1st round by the Boston Celtics, then an expansion draft pick by the Toronto Raptors, where he set 5 franchise records, then traded to the Milwaukee Bucks.

From there, he played 8 years in 12 countries, earning 3 MVPs in Kosovo, Turkey, and China.

After tearing his Achilles, he started coaching in the ABA in Mexico and the Quad Cities, the WBA in Tennessee, and the CBA in Rockford.

He then started coaching his kids and others with Venom Sports girls' and boys' AAU/travel teams for 12 years. Also coaching in high school at Solon, Iowa City High, Iowa City West High, and Northwest Junior High.

Coach Earl also hosted camps for Nike Sports Camps, YMCA, Phenom America, and now his own passing-dribbling-shooting camps in Iowa and Illinois. Coach Earl also trains kids weekly on fundamental skills at each age.
